Do you have a hard time waiting, especially for a promise in God’s Word to become your reality?
In our head we know we are to be patient, so we go through the process, but it’s very challenging in our heart. Especially if you have been waiting a long time for something like a spouse, a child, a healing, a job promotion…. We can easily try to take matters in our own hands to make something happen, but what if that still doesn’t work.
How do you not give up or quit believing?
How do you trust God in the process?
In this episode, I hope you will be strengthened and encouraged to hold onto God's promises and not give up. My very close friend, Dr. Cathy Taig joins me to share her journey of waiting on God’s promises to have children. After sixteen years, she finally gave birth naturally to a daughter and then three years later to a son.
We will discuss:
- How do you not give up or give into pressure from others who think you are crazy?
- How do you trust God in the waiting process?
- How can you strengthen yourself and stay hopeful when not seeing results or God’s promises become reality?
- What is the fruit of waiting?
Hebrews 6:12 says that we inherit God’s promises through faith and patience.
“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Romans 8:25

Dr. Cathy Taig is the author of the book: “Birth Right” Discover God’s Best For Your Birth Experience. For nearly 20 years, she has attended and supported many home births and shows this approach for the birth of her second child.
Dr. Cathy has a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Michigan and a D.C. from Life University. She is certified in Webster and Morphogenic Field Techniques. Dr. Cathy has specialized in the care of pregnant moms and babies for the past 18 years. During that time she has been on television and radio promoting the benefits of natural health. Dr. Cathy and her husband, Dr. Tim Taig, have a chiropractic practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they reside with their two children.

Do you have a difficult time trusting God or seeing Him as a loving Father because of how you relate to your natural, earthly father?
Our view of God as Father greatly affects how we relate to Him, see ourself, and ultimately the life we live.

Fear is being sold to us everywhere we turn. Fear of the unknown, fear of man, fear of war, fear of making mistakes or taking risks.... Fear is a thief that steals, kills and destroys the life that God intends for us: one that thrives. It's the enemy of trusting God and walking by faith.
We must recognize when we are anxious or fearful--that it's a story we are telling ourselves that isn't based on God's Word, rather on past experiences, trauma, vain imaginations, wrong mindsets, etc., and then overcome all that keeps us trapped from moving forward in faith.
